Amazon Kindle App = FAIL

I went to start the Kindle app on my computer & got a message that says, “This version of the Kindle application has expired and can no longer be used. Please update to a newer version.”

If you click OK it just closes.

That has to be one of the stupidest errors I’ve seen in a while. It’s “expired”…really? What do you mean it’s “expired”? You can’t let me keep using it? You can’t say, “Hey there’s a newer version. Would you like to upgrade?” No, you just said it’s “expired”.

Looks like I’m switching back to Calibre. Oh, look…I opened Calibre & look what it says.

Amazon Kindle App = FAIL

Ha, your blog post when the same thing happened to me. Then I opened up my Kobo desktop, and Presto! Same thing. Could not cancel, change my setting. Forced upgrade for you!

Even worse, the Kobo has an install loop. Have to remove and re install. Worse PC software then Itunes. (Well, maybe not)
