Sometimes it’s handy to have another instance of Windows Explorer running with a different user’s credentials…like an administrator account. To do that use the following steps.
- Run the following command: runas /user:domain\administrator regedit.
- Browse to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced.
- Change SeparateProcess from 0 to 1 then close regedit. If the value doesn’t exist then create it. It is a DWORD value.
- Run the following command: runas /user:domain\administrator explorer.
Last night my friends & I bought our Rocklahoma 2009 ticket. Should be a blast just like the last two years.
I asked for a bunch of records for Christmas…that’s right, vinyl records. I don’t own a record player & didn’t have any intension of getting one. I just thought it would be cool to collect records. I got a few for Christmas but my wife really surprised me by also getting me a record player. Turns out I love it. I can’t believe how excited I am that in 2009 I own a record player. Last week I went & bought my first Beatles album…Abbey Road. I can’t wait to buy more.
